Hands holding out a heart.

Make a difference today with an online donation or by mailing your donation to the Women's Center of Rhode Island.

Your generous gift will help us provide the essential services that victims of domestic violence need to begin their healing process and move on to self-sufficient lives.  Read "Laura's Story" to learn of the impact that support from generous donor helped achieve.

Happy Mother's Day!

Honor the importance of all women to our families and communities with a special Mother's Day gift to the Women's Center of Rhode Island.  With this gift, you can recognize an extraordinary woman in your life while making a difference in the lives of the women and their children who come to us seeking safety, shelter and support.

Here's a sample of the many ways your generous gift will help us make a difference...

  • $35 buys a family breakfast, lunch, dinner and a healthy snack with milk.
  • $50 is enough to purchase a week's worth of milk for the shelter.
  • $75 is enough to buy baby supplies (diapers, wipes, etc.) for a month.
  • $150 will cover the shelter's grocery bill for one week.

We collect used/unwanted cell phones from the community and send them to a company that refurbishes or recycles the phones. Once the value of the phones are determined, the company sends a check to the Women's Center.

We collect all phones regardless of their age, make, model or condition.

Please be advised that we do not collect chargers, belt clips, or hands-free devices because they cannot be recycled.
